Collagen Induction Therapy

Collagen Induction Therapy combines IPL and Dermapen facials to increase collagen production and to remove pigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles.

With the help of IPL facial, the damaged skin cells are destroyed and with Dermapen micro-needling process, skin friendly nutrients are penetrated into the skin which stimulates natural collagen production to increase new skin cells generation.

Benefits of Collagen Induction Therapy

  • Increases natural collagen production
  • Treats fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation
  • Doesn’t make skin sensitive to sun
  • Provides natural looking results
  • Increases elastin amount thus making skin more elastic

How Does It Work

The process combines both IPL and Dermapen facial to increase body’s natural collagen production for the growth of new skin cells.

The laser heat from IPL destroys the damaged skin cells while the dermapen microneedles, rich with enzymes, vitamins & amino acids; penetrate deep into the skin and boost collagen production. This increases skin cell generation thus helping you get rid of pigmentation, wrinkles and fine lines.

What to expect during the process

Your Collagen Induction Therapy would take around 45 – 60 minutes. To begin with, the aesthetician would first cleanse your skin to remove any impurity, makeup, or excess oil. The skin will then be exfoliated using the products as suitable to your skin type. A quick microdermabrasion is done which further cleanses and purifies the skin.

Post microdermabrasion, IPL is done wherein your damaged skin cells would be destroyed so as to make place for the new skin cells to grow and surface. It’s then followed by a dermapen facial which nourishes your skin and stimulates collagen production. At the end of the treatment, a calming mask is applied to relax your skin.

After the first treatment session, you will notice slight changes in your pigmentation, wrinkles and fine lines. Your skin would appear more hydrated. (Every patient is a unique individual and every surgery has unique aspects. Therefore no two procedures or rejuvenation treatments will get the exact same results. Individual results vary from patient to patient.)

To get the best results, you will have to undergo at least 3 treatments. If your pigmentation is severe, you may need 5 – 6 treatment sessions. Number of sessions would be advised to you by the aesthetician after the results of your first treatment session.
