Intense Pulsed Laser (IPL), also known as Photo Facial, is a laser based skin treatment targeted at treating conditions such as acne, rosacea (facial redness), hyperpigmentation, sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines and facial veins.
Benefits of IPL include:
- Repairs damaged blood vessels in the skin
- Removes sun spots or other pigmentation irregularities
- Treats large pores and acne
- Improves skin texture
- Stimulates collagen production
You can use different IPL treatments based on your needs. Our Photo Facial treatment is designed to help you improve the skin quality on different problem areas. You can opt for:
- IPL Pigmentation to deal with dark spots
- IPL Rejuvenation for overall skin treatment
- IPL Rosacea for reducing facial redness
- IPL Vascular Therapy for treating the broken capillaries on face
- IPL Acne therapy to treat acne and acne scars
How IPL works
During the process, high energy light waves are made to penetrate deep into your skin layer. These light waves destroy the dead skin cells and increase the production of collagen (the protein which is responsible for skin firmness and elasticity).
When the amount of collagen in skin is increased, your skin becomes more supple and smooth, and the growth of new skin cells is encouraged.
Right after your first photo facial session, you will see prominent results which would get more enhanced over the treatment course. To get more effective and enduring results, you will have to take 3 – 4 treatments.(Every patient is a unique individual and every surgery has unique aspects. Therefore no two procedures or rejuvenation treatments will get the exact same results. Individual results vary from patient to patient.)
While there is no downtime after an IPL treatment, it is important to ensure that the treated area of skin isn’t exposed to direct sunlight because tanning post treatment sessions can increasemelanin regeneration, which is likely to result in hyperpigmentation.
At Aesthetics International, you will be guided by our expert team of therapists who after analyzing your skin type and texture, would advise you the best suited photo facial treatment.
